Markets Show Mixed Results Amid US-Israel Peace Talks and Geopolitical Tensions

Because of the dilemma of peace talks between US and Israel there was positive sentiments seen in the market as a result there is a decrease and market closed today with a decline of 251.61 points at 77017.79 and the Nifty closed with a decline of 67.15 points at 24052.15. In today's trading also , geopolitical tension across the border was seen, the prices of Crude oil have gone down by 107 dollars per barrel since the Strait of Hormuz is not open yet and are more likely the situation is not much clear but if it goes up the risk of inflation will increase. Today the share price of FMCG and Auto sector saw the most significant gains.
Today, a increase was seen in the Asian Markets also, Japan Nikkei closed with a increase of 0.38% of 228.20 points at 59513.12 points , while Chinese markets Shanghai Composite Index closed today with a increase of 0.11% of 4.64 points at 4112.16 , the South Koreas kospi Index increased by 5.12% by 338.12 points and closed at 6936.99 points and Hangseng Index of Hongkong was closed today with a decrease of 0.76% by 197.27 points at 25898.61 points.The American markets on 04th May 2026 closed with a decrease , Dow Jones decreased by 1.13% by 557.37 points and closed at 48941.90 points whereas S&P 500 index increased by 0.41% by 29.37 points and closed at 7200.75 points.
